Past Webinar Series

The Perfect Couple - A Blended Learning Match

Blended learning has been making its way into Adult Education programs where the “walls of the classroom are extended beyond the brick-and-mortar classroom.” We will discuss this instructional approach, which integrates high-quality digital content with traditional print instruction in order to personalize learning, extend learning time, and provide flexibility for students and teachers. Curriculum becomes more flexible, too. Paxen Focus online courses and Paxen Steck-Vaughn’s Fundamental Skills, Pre-GED, and GED print series are the perfect match for using the blended learning concept in your classroom. These print and online resources are available in both English and Spanish!

For programs that offer training for TASC and HiSET, our High School Equivalency (HSE) online and print components are also available (English only).
Join us to see how blended learning can give you and your learners an advantage.

Targeting Reading Across the Disciplines

What skill transcends over all the subjects? Well, reading, of course! Reading is a skill that is important for learners across all instructional levels. We will highlight teaching reading basics. Not all Adult Education teachers have had specialized training in how to teach reading across the disciplines, so join us for a look at the 5 components of reading instruction.

Keep Your Classes Going During this Challenging Time

Paxen is committed to helping adult education programs stay focused on learning objectives by providing a comprehensive online program that assesses, instructs and tracks learners as they continue their studies outside of the traditional classroom. Join us for a detailed look at how you can keep your learners engaged in their studies, so they do not lose any time or momentum they have gained toward achieving critical academic skills
